Okay, for those interested, here's the lowdown on what happened with BLACKFOOT over at THE KINGDOM. Not only will the following selected statements (which are lifted DIRECTLY from THE KINGDOM message board with all copyrights applied to those posts) show us just what kinda fella our beloved "Global Moderator" is but it will also show us what he's capable of.
Read on true believers...
PART ONE
THE STEVE BISSETTE ERA

I have ONLY barred the ONE Swamp poster who demonstrated time and time again his only intent was to disrupt and derail threads, with NO point of view...
If it's just disruption, well, I have no interest in indulging such nonsense. My tolerance was tested to the break-point ("I AM THE MODERATOR!!")...
There were repeated attempts to deal, as a quorum, with Blackfoot's behavior. Polite indulgence; humor; playful posts in kind on his own threads -- it all added up to BF's anger, threats, and spamming of unrelated threads...
Coming home after a weekend away to a thread entitled "I AM THE MODERATOR!" from the fellow -- stating his intent to take over the Swamp (like hell), or have his own forum (not my call), and to disrupt all threads in easy reach until he'd done so -- atop a heap of fresh spamming was the last straw. I acted at that point, after reading a waiting flurry of message board requests and private emails from folks here to "lose the troll."...

I don't care WHAT anyone says, as long as their conduct doesn't become disruptive or plunge into personal threats directed at other posters. BLACKFOOT quickly slid into both of the latter, and the community here appealed to me as moderator to do something. I did...
But the decision against Blackfoot was made the day I logged on to the Swamp after being away a couple days to find his spamming ALL sorts of threads, and announcing himself moderator...
His conduct was dominating the board to no productive end; the Swamp was not created to waste my time, and Blackfoot's behavior was becoming intrusive to the point where I and others were almost dreading coming here...
Blackfoot was the equivalent of a loud, abusive fellow who quickly demonstrates he has no interest in the topics at hand, no topic to interest the room full of people to offer, no interest in anyone else in the room or what they have to say, when he is indulged/ignored he quickly asserts domination of the room based on nothing but his bellowing, and is finally asked to leave before everyone in the room leaves instead.
Blackfoot is no longer welcome...
So -- BLACKFOOT's outta here due to conduct, and yes, Jack banned him based on my request that the disruption STOP.
And, NO, ignoring it or letting it continue was no longer an option to me -- "I AM THE MODERATOR!" from BLACKFOOT, amid multiple spams of unrelated threads to ensure all attention was fixed upon his actions, made it clear he wanted the forum to become his own, and that is not a board I'd be wasting a nanosecond on...

Not because he's annoying- but because he was banned from the swamp- and so had Spack do his dirty work for him. If you look at other forums, it was Blackfoot doing the forum begging. He knew the rules and tried to get around them.
Plus- anybody who begs for a forum (and I'll point out that Ben, DG and I didn't beg for Suckage- we just took one of Recine's old forums over- and then asked to have it recoginzed as what it already was) its just sad- and should go make their own forums someplace else.

Ban the f@ck. When he first appeared on the Swamp, I made a humorous comment pertaining to his Shrimp thread. It's a f@cking forum on movies, dvd's comics and the genre. Of course he got all hateful on me and Steve B (the moderator) and then starting taking shots at anyone who supported us. He's disruptive, ignorant and rude. He's also BANNED from the Swamp. Spack is now BANNED from the Swamp. This is starting to look like a routine for this loser. Ban him here and he'll move on and we can get back to business.

Head over to the Swamp if you want to see the saga of Spack. Just look for the lock. Then check out all of the locked threads by Mr ShrimpFoot and you'll see why he was banned entirely and then weaseled his way back in to restricted postings.

As a fledgling moderator of THE CHOPHOUSE, a certain someone made an important suggestion to me that I should keep the tolerance level extremely high and steer clear of posting subject matter that would be too offensive for a public message board.
As for LEX's "pix" in THE CHOPHOUSE, now granted, they push the boundaries pretty far there but the same person that suggested I keep my sometimes risque personal opinions to a minimum also told me that "banning" people or "deleting" posts from a forum would be a bad habit to start and it could lead to people leaving the forum altogether.
And I certainly don't want that. But I don't think I've done anything wrong so far. Or have I?

If I recall, there have been times I have posted serious threads regarding movies and the such, only to have your "fair and generous moderator" Steve Bitchette lock me down or, as he denies, ban my topics all together. The way it looks to me is the Swamp consists of a dozen or so victims of High School humiliation that banded together in one spot only to whine like infants when someone came along and disrupted their circle jerk.
Last I checked, a little something called the first amendment gave me the right to say what I wanted, where I wanted, when I wanted so I think it's kind of hypocritical to have a message board where people can express themselves openly, then ban someone because he does just that.

and another thing, in order to be part of THE SWAMP you have to acknowledge how great STEVE BISSETTE use to be, stroke him. he's a washed up funny book artist who post on comic boards, tryin to re-live the glory day's. who's reduced to pitchen a tent on the side of the road and calling it a comic convention. and tell me something, if he was all this and that. why he's working at a DVD rental store. and he's always on vacation. how is he going to make money when his store is alway's closed.
